Clusters
Risk Center activities are organised in clusters. Each cluster is created around a "hot topic" in Risk Management that is relevant for society as a whole.
Clusters aim at bringing together stakeholders from academia (Risk Center Members, Risk Center Affiliates, and other ETH faculty), industry and civil society around the cluster's topic.
All clusters promote multi-disciplinary approaches to tackle societal challenges. They engage in cross-sector collaborations to develop innovative solutions and policies, and improve risk- and resilience-management.
The synergies between a cluster's participants generate various outputs:
- Outreach activities (workshops, seminars, conferences...),
- Integrative education formats (eg. the Risk Case Study Challenge),
- Continuing Education,
- Research projects.
